Encounter Retreat's primary focus is that of the spiritual developement of our youth. Church and Organizational Youth groups from various parts of Pennsylvania have gathered together for the past several years to fellowship, play games, and most importantly learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ and to help build relationships between the fellow Christians that attend but most importantly between God and the youth. At the Retreat there are Sessions with the speaker and worship music, Games, Food, Cabin Devotions, and of course Fun & Fellowship. The Retreat is held once a year over a weekend in January, usually the first or second weekend, and currently takes place at Camp Joy El in Greencastle, PA, which is just west of Chambersburg, PA. | | |
